The Baller Strip Poker Championships

Next week, the inaugural London Poker Festival will take place and the absolute highlight will be the first ‘Baller Strip Poker Championships’. The event will be held at the legendary Stringfellows gentlemen’s club on September 21st.

Baller Strip Poker is not your ordinary form of strip poker. The format is Texas Hold’em but only has 2 rounds of betting. The most important difference with ‘regular strip poker’ is that in the Baller* version you don’t strip yourself (so all you exhibitionists who read this: you can stay at home). Instead, each player in tournament is assigned their own stripper who does the stripping for him/her. Much more baller of course.

The event is part of the London Poker Festival, and also serves as a charity event. Money will be raised for cancer awareness charities. You can buy in for £200 ($310), and for that you get free entrance to one of the most famous gentlemen’s clubs in the world, your buy-in, a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne and your own stripper for the duration of the tournament.

The ultimate winner will get a private dance at their seat from their own exotic dancer who will remove the remainder of her clothes. For more info and all the rules go to the official event site.

*The definition of a baller according to the Urban Dictionary: A thug that has “made it” to the big time. Originally refered ball players that made it out of the streets to make millions as a pro ball player, but now is used to describe any thug that is living large.
