Man robs Bellagio Casino for $1,5 million in chips

The thief was smart enough to rob another table..

Someone found a way this week to overcome the ‘house edge’ the casino has with their craps tables…

A man wearing a motorcycle helmet walked in to the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas earlier this week demanding chips from the crew at the craps table. They complied and he walked away with $1,500,000 in Bellagio chips.

A spokesperson of the Bellagio declared to the Las Vegas Sun that $1,5 million in Bellagio chips doesn’t mean $1,5 million in cash. Untill they are redeemed they have no monetary value. The spokesperson, Gordon Absher, did not reveal whether the Bellagio uses so called ‘radio frequency devices’ with their casino chips to be able to track down the chips. The robber probably assumes or knows that they don’t or that he can sell them anyways, or in case he doesn’t the man must be really retarded.

Anyways, the Las Vegas police revealed a video tape of the thief fleeing out of the casino on Youtube:

The robbery was already the tenth of a Las Vegas Casino this year.
