Cristiano Ronaldo plays online poker with Patrik Antonius and Jungleman12

Real Madrid superstar and one of the best-paid soccer players in the world Cristiano Ronaldo showed up at the virtual poker tables this week several times. In between football practise he played online as ‘CR7sete’ at Full Tilt Poker with Patrik Antonius and Daniel ‘Jungleman12′ Cates.

You might expect that a guy who earns €11 million, plays for big money. Ronaldo started playing $1/$2 Pot Limit Omaha against Jungleman12 though. The second Durrrr-challenger tweeted:

“Playing on full tilt vs Cristiano Ronaldo…I’m winning lol, fortunately not playing football.”

Cristiano Ronaldo agreed with us that $1/$2 stakes are too low for a multi-millionaire so soon after he also played Patrik Antonius with a bit more at stake: $25/$50 Heads Up No Limit Holdem. Usually this would still be too low for the Finnish high stakes pro, but it appears that Antonius and Ronaldo are friends.

When they ended their session CR7sete asked in the chat to Antonius to text him to play again, so we’ll be hearing from the Portuguese football player soon..
