Call for legislation online poker on CNN.com | Online Poker Bonus

An interesting piece written by the CEO of Ceasars Entertainment appeared earlier this week on CNN.com. Gary Loveman shines his light on the current situation and pleas for legislation of online poker in the United States.

Since ‘Black Friday’ it is the first comment from a US gaming interest and comes after two other gaming interests disengaged themselves from online poker sites. Wynn Casinos was planning a partnership with Pokerstars and Station Casinos with Full Tilt Poker. Both casinos backed out of the deal.

Loveman calls for legislation by pointing out how the U.S. would benefit from legislation. “The question is this: “Should we seize the moment to legalize online poker, permit a safe and legitimate industry in the U.S., and bring those jobs and revenues home?” Unequivocally, the answer is yes.”
