Aussie Millions 2011 Episode 8

Check out a live stream episode 8 of the Aussie Millions 2011 here at MPC. Now that season 7 of High Stakes Poker has ended, the poker junkies among us need some more televised poker and this episode of the Aussie Millions will definitely do.

In episode 8 it is time for the High Roller Event with a buy-in of an unbelievable $250,000 (no that’s not the first prize, that’s the buy-in). Only the best players and wealthy business men are able to come with such money, so we won’t see boring amateurs and mediocre pros in this episode.

Not only is the buy-in super high, also the format makes for some fast action. The players have only 30 seconds to act before their hand gets mucked so there is not much time to make a decision which makes it even more interesting to put pressure on your opponents and get them in tough positions. In episode 8 of the Aussie Millions 2011 we see players like Tom Dwan, Chris ‘Jesus’ Ferguson and Phil Ivey. On a sidenote: Mister Ivey did not find the tournament important enough to come on time and learn the rules of the tourney. He comes in fashionably late and acts surprised when the 30-second rule is told to him by the dealer .
